Three nights of debauchery in a row is pushing it a wee bit. My tonsils feel like they are the size of. um. teabags. And my head seems as if somebody had cracked it open with a glass bottle.
Taipei could be such an evil place.
Nonetheless, you could always find something to provide solace for the soul. I’m under personal omertà to not disclose where to go for intemperate living but I can tell you where to go for a classic soup and xiaolongbao hangover remedy. Check out the menu on the left.
Pardon the lack of my usual wit, eloquence and logical progression but duty has beckoned me to post, if not party.

The Crispy Pork Cake is really good here, but the pork chop was only okay and their steamed dumplings are above average (but my stomache could only handle 2 orders before getting that not so pleasant feeling of heaviness from consuming too much meat and fat). Their service was also excellent. Thanks Mei for this review, otherwise I would have walked past this food find after dinner without ever going back to check out for myself.

The pleasure is all mine. :>
Another xiaolongbao find is Hang Zhou Soup Dumplings (æå·žå°ç± 湯包) by the Chang Kai Shek Memorial Hall – No. 17, Hang Zhou South Road, Section 2, (å°åŒ—市æå·žå—路二段17號) 02 2393 5875. In all honesty, I must have been to at least quater a dozen hole-in-the-wall xiaolongbao shops this past year that have been awesome.
Dingtaifeng, sh-mingtaifeng. Bah!
